    OLGC

(Nasdaq:OLGC) I remain long on this stock. I can see a huge % gain in the up coming months. The stock gapped open this morning at 1.73 from a previous close of 1.66. I’m not a fan of gap openings and this happened on a Monday which screws with the weekly chart. I’m looking for this to be range bound from 1.58 support, pivot point 1.66, and a breakout of 1.75. This stock needs to churn, flush the traders, and profit takers IMHO.

On weak market days this stock has RS. This stock seems to like to move towards the end of the week.

Besides the manipulated open, It needs to hold 1.50. That is my line in the sand. I had put a bid in at 1.50 after the dust settled at the open. I didn’t get any. I have too much of this thing already, but I felt bid support was necessary.

E’s were released yesterday, another non event.
Friday after the close Biotechnology Value Fund, L.P. reported 5.5% ownership.

TA wise everything is bottomed out. OLGC hasn’t had a press release since 2/16 (excluding filings and earnings)

I’m still holding this POS. Hopefully 1.45 holds if not it will test 1.40. I’m at the point where I don’t even want to add. I’m beyond frustrated.

I’m speechless with this one. In another 2 more weeks it will be 4 months since the last press release. This thing is practically back to the levels when I was first started buying it.

The chart has been setup several times waiting for that push from the company(news) but no one is home.

It kills me that they ended the 1st quarter with 67.3m in cash. They burned 2.9m last Q. At that rate they keep the doors open for 5 years.

    1 fund added 800k shares in Q1 for a total of 1,906,271
Another fund came in Q1 for 1,753,300 and then added 200k+ in the second quarter(last month) They now hold 5.5% of the company.

On June 6th the 52 week high will be 1.80 and the 52 week low is 1.25. 55 cents between the 2?

This slide down is more then likely due to the lack of news and from what I’ve seen with many charts the fibs stocks ride between the highs and lows. I’ll get a chart up shortly to possible explain the slide.

Alright here is the chart with the fibs off of the highs and lows.
    http://tsg.gotdns.com:8082/charts/olgc5-31.htm
Now keep in mind I’m running it fast (as in 238 days not the standard, this way I can “see into the future” *1.80 high*)
From top to bottom the values are
    1.800 52 week high
    1.670 .764
    1.589 .618
    1.522 .5
    1.460 .382
    1.379 .236
    1.250 52 week low

The old level was 1.464 which is now 1.379

I quickly wrote a formula to look for stocks that have less than 60 cent swings from the highs and lows over 238 trading days. The sound of only 60 cent swings in a year sounded very odd even for stocks trading under 2 bucks.

During 2003 there were a number of stocks that fit the pattern. 9 out of the 10 of them took off big time. Currently there is one other stock besides OLGC with tight highs and lows and thats ASTM. That also happens to be .55 cents between the H and L.

Here is OLGC (when the yellow line goes high the value is true
    http://tsg.gotdns.com:8082/charts/scan/olgc.htm
    ASTM
    http://tsg.gotdns.com:8082/charts/scan/astm.htm

At this point I’m on stand by. I have a lot as it is right now and really don’t want anymore.

Very possible this thing put in a bottom. It closed 1.43 +.01 Bummer they gapped it at 1.44 this morning but it held 1.42. A few seconds after the bell 2 prints went off…surprise surprise 1.38 what are the chances?

This stock I’m starting to hate it more everyday. In the past 2 days someone does hit ask, like they wait then buy, then they take it back down.

The chart on OLGC is very similar to ASTM. The only difference is OLGC is trading above the averages where ASTM was being pinched by them and both these stocks have very narrow 52 week ranges.

    Teal-233 and tan-89 averages

    http://tsg.gotdns.com:8082/charts/astm-vs-olgc.htm

chart wise, OLGC appears to found a bottom and is trying to reverse.

I have no idea. On monday this stock had the lowest volume day dating back to 12/26/03

I did speak to Dana S VP of Operations. The drug does work, as stated in press releases. He stated he’s working 90+ hrs a week for long term value - long term shareholders.

Its been 4 months with no news,

OLGC finally showed some life after 13 days of hanging onto the 1.40 level. I know the chart shows a 1.39 low but I never seen it cross my tape. It’s now been 5 months with no news, the chart looks good, hopefully it gets some eyes and continues tomorrow.

I’m not worried about bad luck. I really can’t see the bottom falling out since they pretty much have nothing going on(FDA news, ect) Stock has been washed, trading below cash, and good news should push it higher as I believe all those in are looking for more than a dime move. Funds have been loading, they don’t accumulate without doing research. Up volume has always been higher then down another sign of accum. Another thing about this stock, markets could be weak or selling off and she hangs in there…..much better than any of the others trades/plays I’ve mentioned in the past. Hopefully it pays more than a CD :)

If it takes a little longer that would be fine - nearing a 1yr hold — tax break

Hard to believe I’m still waiting on this one. The hardest thing with these charts is when. I feel very confident still that this will be a big time winner with limited downside. The past few days don’t look very promising in the short term. I will not be adding here, however if someone tries to flush it out, low 1.30s I’ll be all over it and will hold onto those shares like I have since I opened this position. I had several opportunities to trade it but I’m going to let it sit longer.

Everything seems to be there, the story is finally getting out there. The only explanation I can come up with the recent selling is the quarter ends for many funds in Oct. More than likely someone had enough (wasted time) or writing it off as a loss to offset gains.

I’ll say it again, this seems to be another INSM of 2003 which did a 900% return.

The exact pattern is there, no news, funds buying, new hires, website gets a face lift, CEO very upbeat, investors confs.

I just wish they would hire an IR firm to handle timing of PR’s. That would be the final check mark I’m missing on the perfect turn around stock.

Bottom line, I’m waiting for it :)

This thing really needs to lift out of this range. Several funds have added since last Q. In fact BVF - biotech value fund filed for 5.5% ownership in May, A recent filing stats 9.3% ownership as of 12/31/07. Another fund that has been in this stock for awhile now finally cracked 5% ownership. This is a very frustrating stock! I’m not giving up on it yet.

    Another update…..

CEO reported yesterday that he bought 20,000 shares at .92 on 3/11/08 http://www.pinksheets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=5797216

Nice to see the CEO buying more than 5k like he has done in the past. Sure I would like to see more buying but maybe that’s all he can afford? It’s not like he’s making big bucks running this company compared to other bios. It would be nice to see others (upper management) buying up stock.

    The chart,
I’m simply blown away the slide this stock has seen over the past several months.
    http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=OLGC&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p90765128256
I’m looking at the ADX (black line) Its at 60+ thats at an extreme level! I went searching for stocks under 3.00 with ADX that high and only came back with a few. For as bad as the markets are, there should be a lot more stocks with ADX over 60.

The company as of Dec 31st 2007 had $60,600,000.00 in cash & investments with no debt. 41,800,000 shares outstanding. That comes out to 1.449 a share in cash. OLGC closed at .92 which gives it a market cap of only $38,456,000.

Back in Sept the company did a few investor conference calls, calling themselves as a value play when we were trading at cash. Well right now if my numbers are correct a stock trading at .92 and has a 1.449 a share in cash that’s at 57.5% discount to cash not to mention if the drugs have any value……

In the latest conf call it was brought up that they would consider to distribute the cash, which I estimate to be around 1.22 or so a share(if they burn 10m) if they have safety issues with one of the drugs. Possible some sort of safety net.

    It can be heard here
