CPST
(Nasdaq:CPST)
nibbled a position at 1.05, on weakness I’ll try to avg down a few cents.
I was a little late to spot the chart but if these little ones start to wake up this should have a decent pop.
Support should be .99

I was very pleased with the close and volume today. A fund/MM was being a SOB with the stock at 1.05 it was non stop buying and non stop shares being sold or being short? Out of all of my open positions I gotta say I really like the chart on this one. It’s also one of those stocks that many follow/watch unlike a few of my other plays. It could be a day or so before its ripe. It would be nice if IR had a string of pr’s

I’m not expecting much out of CPST today. Someone gapped it pretty hard. I do expect it to close at or below resistance. To see this stock gap like it did and the formation its in doesn’t surprise me. It usually puts up ‘fight’/dances around at this stage.
resistance 1.059 + or - .006

I was watching CPST just prior to earnings and I was surprised it cracked that resistance, but that didn’t last

wow got a 1.07 close even though its shows on my tape at 16:00:05 its usually 16:00:03 is the final price from my data provider… .

this thing feels so right…….
Someone is not letting me in below 1.05 so I bought a few more at 1.06

This thing had some sort of re-balancing at the close, and one paint job I don’t mind seeing

Total volume for the day 15.7m
http://tsg.gotdns.com:8082/charts/cpst6-22-2.htm
OT, CNXT also got that volume along with a high painted close. I’m going to create a list over the weekend for high volume stocks today and see if I can spot anything for next week.
June 26th, 2007 12:51
Sure acting like it wants to go. 3m in volume compared to a daily total of roughly less than 2.2m 50k blocks being bought at the ask.

CPST, looks very promising for tomorrow.
Good volume along with a ‘best’close since 4/25
This thing could be coming out of ‘that‘ cycle. I wish the markets were in better shape……TA is pointing to a decent move.

I’m very disappointed this one didn’t breakout today. It felt like it wanted to go. Looking at a different chart, many stocks just can’t seem to cross the 144 and if they do the 170 has been a real bear to cross and close above it.

play with the time periods to get a better view, and put a few other tickers I’ve played in the past you’ll see they run out of steam.
I’m not tossing in the towel just yet. It’s summer time, alternative energy plays should get that ‘buzz’ will see.

Nice block action taking place. I would really like to see a strong close

GO BABY GO!!!!!

It’s been a few days since I’ve made a comment on my open positions.
The action in CPST yesterday looks very promising. It appears it wants to bounce off the 13ema (more like the 20) http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=cpst&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p90765128256
Keep in mind today is a 1/2 day for the markets, Wed the markets are closed. With the 4th of July being on a Wednesday people are off the first 1/2 and the others on the 2nd half of the week…..or gone all together.
Were sitting at a double top of 1.16
Looking at the 2,3,5 cent boxes on P-n-f charts it looks good, trend in place, averages aligned.

Volume looks promising for a 1/2 day 1hr 7m to go and volume exceeded yesterdays volume.
I’m not to crazy about the 1 cent gap open but willing to see how it pans out.

It wouldn’t hurt to peel some off.
We’re bumping against some resistant.

Once again guys, it never hurts to peel some off
1.05 to 1.20 = 14.2%
1.05 to 1.35 = 28.5%
July 11th, 2007 15:54
It looks like it wants to get parked at the 233ema. Ring the bell already
July 12th, 2007 10:00
I sold a good chunk here 1.34-1.33
I don’t like how they gapped it 4 cents. “possible top”
July 12th, 2007 10:15
WoW this thing has some strength
